I have never seen Titan Breed live or heard any previous material prior to now and i must say i'm actually disappointed with myself, Better late than never i suppose let me spin my thoughts here......
These guys have a great balance of melody and riffs remind me of a mix of 'Avenged Sevenfold' and ' Devil Driver/Coal Chamber' but comparisons aside Titan Breed are very much their own animal, They masterfully created groovy and melodic songs that never get typical or predictable which were fun to listen to, which is no easy feat.
The EPs tempo is great it doesnt let you up after each song and gets you engaged immediately with great riffs and grooves or story telling i.e The Key To Fear which has great riffs and pacing with a chunky bass which is different from previous tracks but flows like a eventuality rather than forced sound.
The two differing vocals are a fantastic compliment to each other and the to and fro they do is well written and cleverly executed making best use of their ranges to tell the stories of the songs, The lack of solos was surprising since this sort of music tends to have a lot of solos but didn't take away from it because there was enough going on as it is! and for EP i can't complain.
These guys sound very nostalgic to me as being a 90s kid listening to thrash/power metal and nu metal etc and the elements are there all the way through but again doing their own thing with it all! it's impressive how they pull this off.
We Bring Destruction is a epic track that has everything but the kitchen sink thrown into it but it does feel conclusive and ties up the end and brings to a satisfying close and the story they sown is epic and fun i enjoyed imagining the scenes of great battles and fighting with your kin.
Overview: Groovy, nostalgic and epic! Titan Breed are a unique force in the UK scene where they stand out differentiating themselves from their peers but also that nod of respect.
