There are some bands that i come across that have sincerity and something to say and this is what 'Sworn Amongst' is all about, aggressive, groovy and melodic these elements are blended masterfully and with cohesion.
'Enslaved' is a belter of a track punching in like a drunk cow at a bar fight, this track is a fantastic opener to a record! dealing with topics of oppression and self reliance.
'Delusion' just hits straight away and feel like a second part to 'Enslaved' tackling subjects of separation from technology and finding your way and reclaim your life.
'Believe' was easily the most stand out track with the off time breakdown and the catchy af chorus line and some sexy riffage, this track really hit home about getting dealt hard life changing events and finding the strength to hold on,
'The cleansing' was a techy and heavy track and could feel the malice from it and disdain for humanity.
'Set This World alight' This track is a fantastic end to the album it felt like the songs concept a conclusion and growth in moving forward for the future!
There's a odd thing with the mix where the vocals would sound like they are underwater distracting me occasionally, unsure if it was intentional or not but it's definitely something i kept noticing....or i might be going nuts...
Refreshing EP 'Reclamation' was techy, passionate, conceptual and groovy! 'Sworn Amongst' are one of the hottest metalcore acts in the country right now and can't wait till their new release!
