The Body will be our Doomlines V headliners and as you can imagine we are reeling to have a band that has influenced all of us at Holy Spiderequally. Unrelenting noise with aspects from across many genres, haunting vocal passages mixed with the harsh sounds of what could only be described as Industrial Doom.

Musically, The Body are difficult to pin down. Mostly, in my view, their music effectively conveys moods of dread, despair, sadness and madness -- sometimes all in the space of one track ('Nothing Stirs' off The Body's album'I Fought Against It, But I Can't Any Longer' is a great example of the sonic heights this band can achieve, whilst also being surprisingly melodic)!
If you're even remotely a fan of Doom, Drone or Industrial Metal and you're free this Sunday, you would be a fool to miss their set. Plus, they're from Rhode Island and with the ever increasing restrictions on bands touring globally, you'll be hard-pressed to catch them again in the UK this year.
