Let's get the blaring negative out the way the mix is what we call "Demo" quality with jarring inconsistency between the music and samples etc, now its not inherently a record killer but it can make the listen challenging to hear how the tracks are supposed to sound with all details present etc
BUT all that considered this EP hits like a runaway bus full of nails. some top tear heavy as fuck shit combined with the harshness of grind it bellows and beats its way through your ear drums.
The influences are too many to name but Blood Church differentiate themselves from their peers and are certainly doing their own thing with some insanely harsh/heavy moments that seemingly come out of nowhere.
I genuinely feel this band will cross all subgenres of extreme metal in their journey! their gigs and fans will be a mix of all aspects of extreme music, which is good way to beat this elitism bullshit.
Overview: Raw, heavy and harsh! Blood Church have the makings of a stand out band in the scene by crossing genres in a way i have never seen, this is only the larva stages of this band i cannot wait till their full length which i shall be sinking my teeth into.
